The AudioGuard™ System has been produced without compromise. Recorded and mixed at the world famous 'Metropolis Studios' London by international sound and mastering engineer Stuart Hawkes. With over sixteen years of audio engineering, Stuart has used his extensive experience to create a truly realistic sound using the latest technology including 24 bit digital processing, prism noise shaping and edited using the SADiE hard disc recorder.
To achieve the most authentic sonic results several microphone and pre-amp combinations were tested, finally the Neumann M49 Microphone and the extremely rare Sontec pre amp were chosen. When recording the sounds, several different microphone positions in relation to the source were once again tested, and the best results for each individual source were chosen. Once the recordings were loaded into the SADiE editor they could be edited, layered and finely tuned to reach the optimum final effect. Stuart Hawkes, with sixteen years experience in sound mastering, has worked with many popular artists including George Michael, Van Morrison, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams, and has clients as far a field as the US and Japan. Mastering is the advanced process of achieving the best sound from any recording using an assortment of equipment including equalizers, compressors, and various effects units then editing together and finally producing a production master tape ready for manufacture. Each and every AudioGuard™ disc has as much technical production as most chart music CDs. |
