Audioguard™ technical information

Using the latest digital equipment, all sounds have been recorded using 24-bit digital technology incorporating techniques to give maximum authenticity including vacuuming, doors and chairs moving, hammering, etc, edited and layered to create an audio deterrent when any potential burglar approaches your property. The audio on each of the three AudioGuard™ CDs lasts around 60 minutes and has been carefully structured to maintain potency throughout, whilst remaining unrecognisable.

All of the sounds recorded were selected for their ability to travel efficiently, allowing them to be heard easily from outside any property, and also to be able to be convincingly reproduced on low budget sound systems.

As a further precaution the soundtrack also incorporates a carefully placed low-level recording, using a constant rhythm designed to add an extra subliminal deterrent. Each of the AudioGuard™ CDs has it's own theme, firstly a generally noisy household for use during the day and evening. Also a similar toned down version for use over night or for extended periods i.e. the weekend and longer. Thirdly a DIY soundtrack made up of various sounds synonymous with home repairs/decorating etc. Finally an office version for use at home or in a small external office.
